“There’s no point being combative after the moment” - Nicks on Hinge

It was the moment that cost the Crows: with just 153 seconds before Three Quarter Time, Mitchell Hinge lost his cool. He bumped Taylor Adams to the ground. In the space of 10 kicks, Adelaide had conceded four goals and had turned a nine point lead into a 15 point deficit;

On the incident Matthew Nicks had this to say;

“I think at that stage they’d wrestled the momentum back. That just basically put some fuel on the fire unfortunately.”

Sydney went on to kick one more in the third, before a four goal to one fourth quarter saw the Swans run out seven goal winners.
