Allen In as Stanaway’s Weekend Ends Early

Kai Allen will race in both Super2 and Supercars on Sunday, as Richie Stanaway is medically withdrawn from the weekend.

Kai Allen has been cleared by Supercars to allow him to race in the place of Richie Stanaway, with the New Zealander still experiencing delayed concussion systems from Friday’s big hit with the barrier.

Stanaway didn’t race yesterday either, with Dale Wood filling in after competing in race two of the Porsche Carrera Cup.

Allen will replace Stanaway from 2025 at Grove Racing, with a long-term deal being agreed to by both parties back in August.

Qualifying for the supercars begins at 10:20 am.
