Richie Stanaway Ruled Out of Saturday’s race

After suffering a massive hit with the wall at turn eight on Friday afternoon. Richie Stanaway will miss Saturday’s race with concussion.

After competing in practice Saturday morning, Stanaway reported suffering from headaches, from there the outgoing Penrite driver was sent to for medical testing.

The medical team diagnosed Stanaway with delayed concussion systems, and he has medically forced out of Saturday’s race.

It remains to be seen whether or not he will take part in his last race as a full-time driver on Sunday afternoon.

It originally looked to be Kai Allen who would step in for Stanaway, however with his Super2 commitments this weekend, Dale Wood has been given the nod.

He will start from pitlane.
