Feeney starts from Pole as Stellar Weekend Continues
It was Feeney who continued his sensational weekend in Adelaide when he placed the number 88 Camaro on Pole position for the last race of the Supercars championship.
His three sectors were all purple, before a 1:19:97 lit up the timing screens, signifying a jump from Chaz Mostert’s time by over a tenth.
The only car in the 1:19s, Feeney seems to have speed that no one can match as he looks toward the championship in 2025.
Cameron Waters, who finished second in qualifying, had rotten luck on his flying lap.
He locked up heading into turn four, before running his car against the wall coming out of turn seven. Unsurprisingly, his sectors were no where near the mark and he finished two seconds adrift of Feeney.
Teammate, Thomas Randle, will start third, when he set his lap, he was top until Chaz Mostert finally got his luck to change.
Champion Will Brown will start from fourth, his lap placing him ahead of reigning champion Kostecki, De Pasquale, Wood, Davidson, Percat and the unlucky Waters.
The Supercars race again at 3:15 PM.
